I like all things crafty but find that my day job often means that I have less time for  projects than I would like.  I struggle to fit all the fun stuff into my free time and I am sure there are many of you out there like me!

I like most things domestic and enjoy sewing, gardening, cooking – pretty much all kinds of home makes.

I am an avid reader of blogs and admire the truly talented people working away at various crafts.  I have recently discovered Pinterest too.  It is a great way to find new, interesting sites while at the same time filing inspiring source images.  It suits me as it is visual but someone should have warned me how quickly time gets eaten as I look at all those lovely projects other people post!

Part of the reason for starting my own blog is to record my progress as I turn my “one day projects” into action and explore just how far I can take my home makes.  I am sure I will learn lots about blogging as I go.
